Our English teachers are always keen on self betterment to provide a well balanced lesson in their classes.
YMCAの英語講師は、バランスの取れたよりよいレッスンを行うため、日々努力を重ねています。
Last May 19th, they had a firsthand experience on how it is to be students again.
去る5月19日に上通YMCAで講師を対象としたワークショップを行い、直接すばらしい指導を受けることができました。
We had a teacher training workshop at Kamitori YMCA with no other than the MAT(Model, Action, Talk) wizard, Ms. Ritsuko Nakata, co-author of one of the textbook series that we use in the Kodomo English Program, the Let's Go series.
今回私たちは、特別講師としてIIEEC（英語教師とトレーニングセンター）代表 仲田利津子先生をお迎えしました。
仲田先生はMATメソッドの考案者であり、YMCAこどもえいごスクールで使用している英語教材「Let's Go」シリーズの著者でいらっしゃいます。
It was a full house and a fun filled afternoon doing and learning so many activities to make our classes more exciting in teaching the 4 skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing).
ワークショップは多くの講師で満席となり、とても楽しい午後となりました。私たちはアクティビティを通してどのように４つの技能（聞く、話す、読む、書く）を楽しく教えることができるか学ぶことができました。
What added to the fun was the feeling of being young students again.
何より楽しかったのは、日ごろ教えている講師たちが生徒の立場に立ち返り、改めて生徒の気持ちを実感することができたことです。
We would like to thank Ms.Ritsuko Nakata and Oxford University Press for the wonderful workshop. We are very much looking forward to having Ms. Ritsuko Nakata again.
