Today's Aso Global Kids Club activity is "rice harvesting" jointly with Minami Global Kids! The rice in the rice fields that everyone planted in May has grown and is now ready to be harvested. We will hand cut areas that cannot be cut with a combine harvester. We don't usually use a sickle, so we worked while being careful not to get injured. At first, we had a hard time cutting the grass, but after trying it a few times, we were able to cut it. Finally, the rice was harvested with a combine harvester. After harvesting rice, we ate curry at Aso Camp and spent some free time exercising in nature. Finally, we played games indoors and said goodbye to all the Minami Global Kids. See you next time on Halloween! It was a great experience to experience rice planting and learn how rice is grown. Aso Global Kids Club is held every Saturday.
