Kumamoto YMCA is now offering job opportunities for dedicated and responsible English teachers who are serious in pursuing their teaching career in Japan. If you would like to try to be part of the YMCA English Language Teachers Workforce, this is a very good opportunity for you to join and start as a part time teacher and hopefully be eligible for a possible Full Time Position.

New challenges and non-stop opportunities for self-improvement through free intensive and regular trainings, workshops, discussions and even free Japanese lessons for foreigners await you here at the YMCA so come and try to be part of how it is to make a difference in the global community.

Kumamoto YMCA is not only a place where you can teach English. It is also a place where you get to be a part of a community where people support and help each other. It is also the place where teachers' ideas are always welcome to make contributions for the betterment of the school which in turn contributes to making better programs based on the needs of our clientele.

Most of our teachers (and students as well) have stayed with us through the years as they have opted to be committed to our program and vision of nurturing the old and young alike to be ready as global citizens. Our foreign teachers also have regarded Kumamoto YMCA as their second home away from home.

If you are a teacher who values commitment, self- improvement, long lasting friendships and a chance to make a difference, then Kumamoto YMCA is one of the best if not the best place to be.
