このフラコンサートは、フィリピンのガンに苦しむ子どもたちのためのチャリティーコンサートでもあります。
主催しているのはフィリピン出身でフラダンス講師のジョジョ・ウエダさん、チャリティーフラコンサートは今回で5回目となります。
また、ジョジョさんはYMCA成人語学・子どもえいごスクールにおいてハワイアンイベントを2回サポートしてくださり、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
今回のコンサートはフラの楽しさを体感していただけるとともに、経済的な問題でガンの治療を受けられない子どもたちへの援助にもつながります。
